SEO Strategist

The focus of the position is to maximize the volume of inbound organic traffic from search engines to a website for Digital Division and our clients. This is accomplished through a combination of on-page and off-page techniques, including link-building, social media strategy,  local listings, metadata sculpting, site speed optimization, content strategy, information architecture and more. This position is the driving force behind the results we generate for our clients. Qualified candidates are avid readers that stay on top of SEO trends from trusted sources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute SEO and content strategy to drive brand awareness, increase leads/sales and maximize ROI for Digital Division and our clients.
  • Develop plans that integrate all aspects of digital marketing to provide holistic solutions for our clients
  • Provide valuable feedback on site migrations to ensure sites are launching with proper SEO best practices enforced, that redirects are accurately in place and sites are able to recover quickly
  • Collaborate with Paid Search, Web Development, and Social Media departments to integrate SEO with their channels
  • Communicate SEO performance to Account Managers
  • Monitor performance of local SEO listings including Google My Business and other major citation sites
  • Build out and deliver client reports
  • Strategists will be responsible for coordinating all SEO tasks with the strategy team for their assigned clients. This includes delegated and reviewing tasks with junior members of the team.


  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Great attitude and a desire to learn
  • Self-starter who can accept feedback but needs little management
  • Experience using Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and WordPress
  • Certified in Google Analytics
  • 2+ years of experience in an SEO Strategy role (preferably with a digital agency)
  • Ability to focus on a large number of clients throughout the month
  • An understanding of mobile strategy and how it impacts SEO
  • An understanding of local listings and how they impact SEO performance
  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations
  • Ability to work and manage projects within a team

SEO Copywriter

The focus of the position is to increase inbound organic traffic from search engines on our clients’ websites through the use of engaging, strategic SEO content and metadata. The SEO copywriter is responsible for creating and editing content including title tags, meta descriptions, page content, heading structure, image alt tags, blog posts, and other optimized content. The SEO copywriter must be able to incorporate specifically chosen keywords provided by the account strategist and mimic the brand voice for consistency in messaging while integrating SEO best practices for the page. The SEO copywriter must also have a firm grasp on voice search and the importance of long tail keywords developed in content for prominence in voice search results.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with strategists on content strategy to drive organic traffic and optimize conversion
  • Optimize and upload website content for search engine performance and user engagement
  • Create new pages based on strategy recommendations and client request
  • Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, image alt text and H1 headings for search performance
  • Meet with clients to discuss content plans, new pages, and content opportunities


  • 3-5 years of experience writing and editing digital copy specifically for SEO preferred
  • Expertise in integrating keywords into copy without sacrificing user experience
  • Understanding of writing content for voice search
  • Ability to adopt a brand tone and voice
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
